As per Federal Decree-Law No. 13 of 2022 Concerning Unemployment Insurance Scheme Involuntary Loss of Employment Insurance ILOE , this unique scheme provides security for employees who lost their jobs due to reasons other than disciplinary action or resignation until they find a new job.
It has made mandatory to subscribe for Job Loss Protection insurance policy for all the employees.
Employees working in any private company incorporated in Free zone or mainland or government sector organization in the UAE, should enroll for Unemployment Insurance Scheme on or before 30th June 2023
This insurance coverage can be done through different Channels, i.e.

The cost of the insurance for one year will be 60+ Vat for those who are getting monthly salary less than 16,000.00. If salary is more than 16000.00, then it will be 120+Vat.
If you are doing it with payment machines, you have to provide Emirates ID number and mobile number. Payment 65
If you are doing through C3 app, the charge will be Aed. 70, for one year
